Braddan Parish Commissioners has announced the launch of its new housing repairs and maintenance system, Fixflo, which will be available for all its public sector housing tenants within Braddan in mid-August.

Braddan Parish Commissioners strive to provide the best possible living experience, and all tenants deserve a comfortable and safe place to live. From time to time, even our newest properties can experience issues that require urgent or ongoing maintenance attention, and that’s where our new system comes in.

This new system will be available to all existing and new tenants. The reporting tool can either be accessed through our website or via this link, and repairs can be reported quickly and easily.

The new system collects an essential amount of detail and using a graphic-based ‘fault-tree’, users can visualise the problem and follow the most suitable path that relates to it. This makes sure that everything is recorded accurately, there’s a log of the report and our Housing Team can take the necessary steps to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Once a problem is reported, our Housing Team is immediately notified, can assess the issue, arrange a solution and provide estimated timescales. For issues reported out of office hours which will require immediate attention such as a burst pipe, we do also have an emergency contact number.

This system will transform the way Braddan handle maintenance issues, and is expected to improve our response times, eliminate unresolved problems, provide email and text message updates and reminders and increase tenant satisfaction with the service. Our tenants can rest assured that any issues they experience will be addressed promptly and professionally.

In the coming weeks, our Housing Team will be in touch with tenants to provide more details.

Should tenants have any questions about our new system, they can contact us on 01624 852808 to find out more.
