Braddan Parish Commissioners are pleased to confirm that their event to assist prospective election candidates for Braddan was successful.
Those attending the sessions were able to speak to current board members and staff to discover more about the challenges and exciting opportunities that lie ahead for Braddan.

- At least one of the existing Board Members will not be standing for re-election in April
- Nomination packs are available now from Braddan Commissioners’ Office at The Roundhouse
- The deadline for the submission of nomination papers is only a few weeks away on Wednesday 26 March 2025
- If an election is necessary, the Polling Station for both districts (North and South Braddan) will be in The Roundhouse
- The next Public Meeting will be held on 13 March 2025 – full details will be online closer to the time

The Local Authority General Election on 24 April 2025 will see 5 people elected to the Board of Braddan Parish Commissioners, to serve for a term of 4 years. Local Authorities play an important role in local democracy and Braddan covers a strategically important area with an annual turnover of £2.8 million.
