Braddan Commissioners have recently implemented amendments to their original off street parking order from 2019.
The Braddan (Off Street) (Parking Places) (Amendment) Order 2025 went out to consultation in February 2025 and introduces parking restrictions at The Roundhouse. Visitors to the community centre are now limited to 3 hours free parking, with no return within 2 hours. This will enhance the visitor experience to the popular building, as parking is often at a premium during busy times and large events.
Parking is only provided for patrons of The Roundhouse, businesses within the building and Braddan Commissioners.
Parking discs must be displayed in vehicles and Commissioners’ staff are able to issue parking tickets to anyone parked in contravention of the Order.
Restrictions apply from 08.00 – 18.00 Monday to Friday. There are no restrictions outside these times, including weekends and bank holidays.
The other main amendment introduces an annual charge for a parking permit for the Memorial Hall in Union Mills.
